2024 Scholarship Competition
Deadline for Video Submissions: April 15, 2024
The goal of the ATL Symphony Musicians Foundation Scholarship Competition is to support music students in pursuit of a music performance career. The competition grants awards that support metro Atlanta high school students. There will be one (1) $1000 award given to a string player and one (1) $1000 award given to a woodwinds or brass player.
Competition Requirements
Eligibility:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12.
Repertoire:

Two contrasting, standard works or movements of two different time periods OR the 1st movement of a standard concerto for your instrument.

Piano accompaniment is optional. Memorization is optional.
Video Requirements:

Videos should not exceed 10 minutes in duration and must contain a continuous, unedited performance of each selection; cuts in between movements/selections are acceptable.

It is important for videos to provide clear video and audio of your performance. Please be sure you can be seen clearly and record in a quiet space.

Examples of recording devices for your video can include a video camera, tablet, or smartphone.
Submission Requirements:

We accept videos as a private or unlisted link from your own Youtube account.

Video links must be submitted in the application form.
